ACTIVITY OVERVIEW

This online resource comprises of comprehensive anatomical theory supplemented by videos, diagrams and illustrations for beginner and experienced injectors alike, which is meant to complement hands-on injecting experience.


TARGET AUDIENCE

This activity is designed to meet the needs of physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and dentists.


LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Identify facial anatomy relevant to intermediate level dermal fillers
  • Distinguish the correct plane for filler deposition
  • Distinguish with using both needle and cannula and when to use them
  • Demonstrate how to perform dermal fillers in the chin, jaw, sub-zygoma and marionette
  • Determine danger areas when injecting and demonstrate to avoid complications

CRITERIA FOR SUCCESS

To obtain a certificate of completion, a score of 70% or better on the post-test is required. Certificates of completion will be awarded based on the participant’s attendance and submission of the activity evaluation/claim credit form.
